Globetrotting in the first tram of Tallinn the artist Orsi Mild reflects on the journey in its windows:
"Painting and creating something gives you an opportunity to learn about the world, yourself and to be able to live life to its fullest. It is constant progress and great fun at the same time. I have never called it a hobby. Painting is something extra. It is something that increases the quality of life. A luxury.
The ideas come suddenly. I often paint everyday situations. My childlike style showing simple situations is often perceived as naive. The acrylic paint is perfect for the realisation of my ideas. I feel that my pictures are a reflection of myself: colourful, with a wry sense of humour, sometimes suggestive, with strict boundaries. I want to bring colour and joy to the viewer and to myself."
By the way - spot The Lonely Man with a suitcase in many of the paintings!
