The architect of this imaginative Swiss style villa was Ferdinand Boberg, one of Sweden's greatest architects in the beginning of the 20th century. Many of his works can be found in Stockholm as for example the residence of the Swedish government Rosenbad, the Thielska Art Gallery, Waldemarsudde -the museum of Prince Eugen and the NK department store.

Our exhibition in London will have mysterious surroundings. The Crypt of St Pancras' Church was used for funerals in the middle of the 19th century and became the last resting place for a total of 557 people - hence the theme of our exhibition.

In 2002 an art gallery was opened in the crypt.  With its underground passages it creates a very special atmosphere and different light settings for the artworks on display.
